Our first monthly luncheon of the new year will be on January 8, 2022 at La Catrina.
LaCatrina located on SR520 at 315 W. Cocoa Beach Causeway, close to A1A. If you come from Cocoa/Merritt Island on SR 520, the restaurant is on the left (North) about 1/2 way between the edge of the inland waterway and A1A. If you are coming from beachside on A1A, turn west on SR 520 towards the Causeway. The restaurant will be on your right (North) before you get to the Causeway. It has inside and outside seating and is quite large inside. If you want to see its menu and other information, go to lacatrinacocoabeach.com. The choice are varied and prices are reasonable.

For those of you who are new to us or haven’t attended a luncheon, they are a less intense and comfortable way to be safely among others who have lost a loved one. Many times we don’t feel comfortable being in public when our grief is fresh and intense. The luncheons are designed to bring us together in a climate where we can socialize in a group who understands what you are going through.Usually, 20 to 30 people attend. Children and family are welcome. Its a great way to meet other grievers in a more relaxed atmosphere. So we encourage you to attend. Each person is billed separately and pays their own way. We will order individually off their regular menu. We have these events monthly at different venues around the space coast and try to spread them out so all have an opportunity to attend.
